Welcome to our place ...
... where we will plan our trip from Denver
to Japan in June, 2019!
Whether this is your first time to Japan, or you are re-acquainting yourself to this
charming, mysterious country, you need to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa, and Takayama.
Tokyo is the capital city of Japan, and the most populous metropolitan area in the world.
This dynamic city is an exciting mix of the traditional and the ultra-modern.
Stylish and sophisticated, you'll find the past and the future blended together here.
Kyoto is the classic Japanese city, with dozens of World Heritage Sites (temples, shrines,
gardens, and more) as well as smaller, pleasant paths hidden inside the hustle and bustle
of a modern city.
Takayama, Denver's Japanese sister city, maintains much of the charm of old Japan;
sometimes called "little Kyoto", this tourist friendly city always welcomes visitors
from Denver warmly and generously.
The city of Kanazawa is famous for it's Kenrokuen Garden, but it also a fascinating town
aside from the garden. A recent addition to our standard "Introduction to Japan" trip,
it continues to surprise and please us.
