Introduction To Japan - 2020
60th Anniversary Celebration

Prices and options

Our current pricing figures are below; until we actually purchase all the parts of the trip, prices are subject to change. So these prices are a best estimate.

For this trip, with travelers coming from multiple starting points and some arriving early or staying longer, one size does not fit all. Still, the prices listed here should be accurate for most travelers.

[Hiroshima,] Kyoto, Takayama, Tokyo

Price: Land portion only: $3,950. We expect airfare on the suggested route to run around $1,200 - $2,500 per person, depending on how and when you book. (See our page on Shopping for air travel.) (We call this the "official itinerary".)

Price for adding the pre-trip extension to Hiroshima (depart Denver on September 30, arrive in Hiroshima October 1, join the rest of the trip in Kyoto on October 4, land portion only): $750. When you request this option, we communicate with you to tailor your trip as much as possible, so this price may be a bit higher or a bit lower. For information about Hiroshima click here.
