Koyasan as we see it

Hotel:

We will be staying at a 'shukubo', or Buddhist temple, the Henjoson-in. Their website is all in Japanese. But pictures can help: the hallway and rooms, and some of the available activities.

This is very basic lodging. Do not count on wi-fi or internet or TV. Relax and go off the grid for 24 hours. The meals are vegetarian.
