Osaka as we see it
Hotel:
Our first night in Osaka, October 15, we will be staying at the Henna-no Hotel Nishi Shinsaibashi. The world's first robot-staffed hotel! This should be interesting!
"Henna-no hotel" translates variously as "strange hotel" or "weird hotel", and it can be a technological wonder. This site has some pictures and more information. To help you prepare, you might also want to check out their brand concept web page.
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
- Restaurant open 7:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
While our group goes up to Mt. Koya, our bags are being shipped to our last hotel, also in Osaka...
On October 17-18, we will be staying at the Hotel Granvia Osaka.
Their web site is here. I suggest you check out
the menu items along the top, especially 'dining', 'access', and 'hotel overview'.
Note that hotel breakfast is not included here: by now you are able to have breakfast
like the locals at nearby coffee shops, restaurants, or convenience stores.
