Japan Weather - Tokyo, Kanazawa, Takayama, Osaka

As we get closer to departure, you might want to use the weekly forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency.

As a general summary, one would expect mild to cool temperatures (lower 60's for lows, upper 60's to low 70's for highs in Tokyo, Kanazawa, and Osaka, and mid 40's to mid 60's in Takayama).

October can be a rainy month, especially in Tokyo and Kanazawa, so a collapsible umbrella and / or a jacket with a hood are likely to come in handy.
